Servers are large online worlds created by our partners-nice people from Minecraft. Each has its own unique style of entertainment with minigames that allow you to play with your friends (or frenemies), huge lobbies where other players can gather, and vast custom-made worlds to explore.
CONNECTING SERVERS
Your entry point into the online world of Minecraft multiplayer is as simple as signing up for an Xbox profile for free. Xbox profile
It's simple and easy to connect to our official servers partners. Simply search for the "Servers” tab in the Minecraft game menu on your Windows PC or tablet, mobile device or Xbox. Before connecting, make sure to sign up for your free Xbox profile (no Xbox required!) to get an Xbox Gamertag - your username and profile in the Minecraft world. Xbox Live Gold subscribers are required to have access to all online content.

Everyone should feel at home in Minecraft! We require that every player has a free Xbox account before they can join the servers. An Xbox profile contains a player's code and is linked to real player details to ensure that our support teams can quickly respond to any complaints of poor behavior. Our official server partners, which you find on the in-game Servers tab include chat filters that remove negative language, email addresses and phone numbers and keep your personal information safe and secure.
We also ensure that younger players are safe online by allowing child accounts. Online multiplayer is disabled by default for users under 13 years of age. They aren't able to join Realms or servers until their parents modify their account settings.
